Job Description

Salary: £20,000 – £24,000 (negotiable)

Hours: Full Time, 9:00am – 5:00pm

Area: Middleton

 

You will be required to work as part of the Administration team you will offer full support, as and when required, to all functions. The main purpose of the role is to deal with all accounts and Payroll administrative duties, raising and liaising with other teams in Hull to ensure complete query resolution.

 

 

Job Description:

  • Check all NatWest Bank Accounts daily or as and when required.
  • Print off weekly bank statements, reconcile and post monies received onto relevant Ledgers in SAGE.
  • Reconcile the Day book, export to excel and ensure all up to date in preparation of Management Accounts.
  • To facilitate the collection control and administration of monies due from clients and run debtors report. 
  • Monitor and identify on a daily/weekly basis those customers that have outstanding debt and report to Assistant Accountant.
  • Accurately record transactions to enable efficient follow up of any accounts and document all communications with customers.
  • Liaise between Payroll and with customers regarding any disputed invoices.
  • To provide efficient and effective general administration and support. To ensure all tasks are done in line with operating company standards and procedures. Complete all administrative duties within specified timelines and support the team objectives.
  • Processing Purchase invoices on Sage Line 50, including coding to correct ledgers.
  • Processing Sales invoice uploads into Sage Line 50 accounting package.
  • Responsible for the security of the Chadderton office and the fault reporting of the facility to the Hull branch. 
  • Responsible for the forwarding of mail to the Hull branch both electronically and physically.
  • Responsible for the MuM insurance administration which will include dealing with all correspondence, filing of documentation and submission of new companies to be insured to the insurers and maintaining a check that all trading MuCs are insured.
  • Responsible for checking excess required on Insurance and drivers negligence if needed (This role also includes inputting invoices onto Sage and reconciling insurance invoices against the master insurance spreadsheet)
  • Responsible for all Pension Administration using NEST Pensions. 
  • Enrol new workers and answer Pension questions from clients.
  • Carry out all pension functions less the actual payments and accounting.
