Location – Manchester

Hours – 36.25 hours per week

Contract – 2 year fixed term

Salary – £30,153 – £33,437

This exciting new role will support the implementation of the innovative Greater Manchester Public Sector Approach, bringing together all our Public Sector organisations to collaborate on Apprenticeship Delivery and maximise the investment that the partners are making through the levy.

The work will be varied but include facilitating collaborative flagship programmes, working closely with the Health and Social Care Partnership, local authorities, NHS organisations and blue light services, provider commissioning and developing provision that supports apprentices with additional barriers and needs.

This is a great opportunity to steer the development of apprenticeships across all the public sector organisations in Greater Manchester.

About you

An experienced project or programme manager with good knowledge of Apprenticeships and a background of working in or closely with the Public Sector, you will be passionate about supporting organisations and individuals to maximise the opportunities apprenticeships bring. You’ll be a creative and innovative thinker, highly organised, and confident in presenting and facilitating meetings.

Working within the Policy and Strategy Directorate, this role will help us achieve our ambitions for Apprenticeships within our public sector organisations making an impact for Apprenticeship opportunities across Greater Manchester.
